Gumigem Teething Necklace Review

Little Miss has been teething for a few weeks and has recently cut her first two teeth. Thankfully she hasn't been too upset by it but she does want to chew on anything she can get her hands on. We were sent this lovely pendant by Gumigem and it was an instant hit with Little Miss.

Gumigem Teething Review

Gumigem is a family run UK based business created by Jenny Mclaughlan. They sell stylish teething jewellery made from silicone that is BPA, PVC, Lead, Latex and Phthalate free.

There is a wide range of jewellery to choose from, necklaces, bangles 'dad tags' and children's jewellery. I chose the damson miller heart as purple is my favourite colour. I liked the design of this one because it is easy for little fingers to grip on to.

It comes in a handy little pouch which is perfect for keeping the necklace safe when it's not being worn. It also makes it really easy to pop in a changing bag when on the go.

Little Miss loved the necklace as soon as she saw it and sat on my knee for a good ten minutes chomping away. The cord is long enough for her to move about quite freely while I am holding her but if she did tug too hard then there is a breakaway clasp to prevent me from being pulled along too.

Recently Little Miss has been nipping and scratching me a little while feeding so the necklace is perfect to distract her. It is also useful for when she is in the sling, she has something to play with but she can't drop it or throw it away. It also stops her from going for my hair!

Little Miss loves this so much that I have put the Bubba Bag on her Christmas List. It's a neoprene bag filled with 4 teething toys, so she will have her own little set to carry anywhere she wants to.

Disclosure: I was sent this necklace for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
