The Mummy Tag

1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum or a Working Mum?

I have been a stay at home mum since Big Man was born in 2008.

2. Would you have it any other way?

No, I have always wanted to be a stay at home mum.

3. Do you co-sleep?

Yes, I have co-slept with all 4. They all went in their cot for the first part of the night then came in to bed with me when they wake in the night. Little Miss still comes in the early hours of the morning and Little Man likes to sneak in occasionally too.

4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?

A baby carrier or sling, especially for number 2 onwards. It's great for keeping my hands free to deal with older children. They are also fantastic for naps. With all 4 of mine, if they were refusing to sleep in their cot or pram I would put them in the sling and they would be sound asleep within 10 minutes.

5. How many kids do you plan on having?

I would love to have a few more.

6. Date nights? How often do you have them?

We don't have date nights, I'd be too exhausted to go out at night! We prefer to have date afternoons. Once every few months we will go out for lunch and go to the cinema.

7. Your child’s favourite show?

Little Miss loves Bing, Little Man likes Paw Patrol, Middle Man likes Angry Birds and Big Man likes Horrible Histories.

8. Name one thing you bought before you had the baby and never ended up using?

I don't think we bought anything that we didn't use. We had planned to use cloth nappies full time so bought a birth to potty set. However the boys were only in cloth very part time, at home during the day. They were in disposables at night and if we were out. I didn't even attempt to use cloth with Little Miss.

9. Your child’s favourite food?

Macaroni Cheese, they all love it. It is the most requested birthday meal!

10. How many cars does your family have?

We don't have a car.

11. Weight gain, before pregnancy, during, after and now?

I gained about 2 - 2 1/2 stone during my first two pregnancies and had lost it all by about 3 months post partum. I got a big shock when I gained over 3 stone with Little Man and held on to over a stone of it. He was my biggest baby at 10lb 14oz! I then gained over three stone again with Little Miss and instead of losing the baby weight  I continued to gain after she was born. At my heaviest I was about 4 stone over my ideal weight, I am currently 3 stone over.

12. Dream holiday with your kids?

Disneyworld, Florida.

13. Dream holiday without your kids?

Rome with my husband.

14. How has your life changed since having kids?

It has changed completely, I wouldn't have it any other way.

15. Finish the sentence “It makes heart melt when…”

My children say "I love you, Mummy".

16. Where do you shop for your kids?

Tesco mostly as we have one a ten minute walk from our house. Occasionally Asda and Matalan.

17. Favourite make-up and skincare products?

I'm not into make-up or skincare at all. Using Coconut oil as a moisturiser is as close as I get to skincare.

18. Huggies or Pampers?

Pampers to begin with but I switched to Asda's Little Angels with Little Man. I tried Huggies once but it brought out a rash.

19. Have you always wanted kids?

Yes, always.

20. Best part of being a mum?

All of it.
